Stewart Hosts Thought-Provoking Commercial Real Estate Economic Conference

Stewart Title Commercial Services recently partnered with the CCIM Institute to host an unfiltered and informative commercial real estate economic conference at the New York Stock Exchange. Over 100 top real estate professionals and attorneys in New York City attended the invitation-only event, “Real Estate. The Economy. Uncut.”

CEO Matt Morris and Bruce Hawley, Executive Vice President, Director of Stewart Title Commercial Services, provided welcoming remarks along with CCIM leaders.

Dr. Ted C. Jones, Senior Vice President, Chief Economist for Stewart, and Jim Costello, Senior Vice President of Real Capital Analytics, gave comprehensive presentations about economic conditions currently affecting the New York, national and international commercial real estate markets.

Jones’ optimistic view of the national commercial real estate market is underpinned by strong job growth, while Costello’s presentation placed the New York commercial market in a global context.

“Stewart is proud to provide thought leadership and unique, real-time insights to the commercial real estate industry,” said Hawley. “Since commercial real estate and capital markets are so closely linked, it’s appropriate that such a quality event was held at the New York Stock Exchange, one of the world’s leading equities markets.”
